Dit is met groot leedwese dat ons aankondig dat Brink Botha op Maandagoggend 3 November, tydens 'n rooftog op sy kleinhoewe buite Brits doodgeskiet is. Deur die Here se genade is Christelle en Odelia ongedeerd. Langs hierdie weg wil ons graag ons innige simpatie aan hulle oordra. Mag God hulle in hierdie tyd dra, ondersteun en van die nodige krag

It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Brink Botha, who was fatally shot during a robbery at his smallholding outside Brits on Monday morning, 3rd November 2008. Through God's grace, Christelle and Odelia are unharmed. Our sincerest condolences and sympathies to them both during this difficult time. May God be with them, support them and provide them with the necessary strength.
